Jolla announces Sailfish OS 1.0 for new markets…!!

Sailfish OS which is an operating system developed by the Finnish company Jolla.

After Nokia drops their participation in the MeeGo
project, the directors and professionals from
Nokia’s N9 team left the company and together formed
Jolla, to bring MeeGo back into the market mainstream.

This effort resulted in the creation of the Sailfish OS .

Whats is special in Sailfish OS?

Sailfish includes a multi-tasking user interface.
This can be the winning point for Jolla which makes it different than other smartphones.
          And Sailfish OS is so amazing that it can run Google’s Android or Apple’s iOS applications.

Jolla, the Finnish phone
company founded by Nokia x-workers, is ready to roll out Jolla devices  commercially in New market with 1.0 version of its Sailfish
software.

  It can also run Android apps or you can try it on your Android phone by downloading a launcher that creates the Sailfish interface.

   Sailfish OS community has already developed major social media applications, such as Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, and Foursquare for  the Sailfish OS.

In last month Jolla was only available in Europe for 399 ($
540) plus.

Sailfish OS 1.0 update is important for company as they are going to release it commercially.

Jolla has also announced it is expanding the availability of its smartphone to Hong Kong, India and Russia.
Currently, the Jolla phone is sold primarily in
Finland through local carrier’s DNA shops.
